Booking Policies

A credit card is required at the time of booking and a deposit in the amount of one nights stay is charged. MasterCard, Visa, accepted. Checks will be accepted, but must be paid in advance and cleared two weeks prior to check-in.
Receipt of deposit secures the reservation.
Two weeks notice is required to cancel and have deposit returned less a $50 dollar processing fee.
Cancellation must be confirmed by a Lexington Company representative in order to be valid. This will be in the form of an email or a letter mailed USPS. Voice mail cancellations without confirmation from The Lexington Company will not be accepted.
Two weeks prior to check-in the balance of the stay will be charged to the credit card used for deposit and will be non-refundable, unless otherwise specified.
Stay is subject to 11% local lodging tax. Tax is not included in nightly rate, and will be added on the final statement.
Check-in time is 3:00 P.M.
Check-out time is 11:00 A.M.

Other Policies

Please do not leave trash outside the dwelling. It attracts animals.
This is a NO SMOKING unit.
Guests are responsible for any damage to the lodge or its contents during your stay, including replacement cost for missing items. We will notify you of damages and charge the credit card we have on file.
Sorry, NO PETS.
No open air fires.
The property manager, the tenant at the barn, and maintenance personnel may need to access the property for various maintenance reasons. We strive to keep any inconvenience to a minimun and we appreciate your understanding.
Fishing and Creek Usage - Guests are invited to fish and enjoy Buffalo Creek. A fishing license is required and may be purchased at Wal-Mart in Lexington. Catch and release of trout fewer than 12 inches in length is encouraged. Both units have access to Buffalo Creek behind the Cottage in the open area.
Other Check-out Procedure - Please remember to leave the unit keys in the unit on the kitchen counter and the key-box keys in the key-box when you leave. Turn off all lights and air-conditioners and lock the door as you exit.
